Here are various Thermal Images of common defects found in most buildings. It is very important to ask your inspector if he provides this service before you close escrow.
The images here are just examples of of what will be costing you money from energy loose, and possibly preventing a fire if hazardous conditions exist in electrical systems. These items are important to locate, and are not visible with the human eye during the course of a visual inspection of the property.
